RMS CET 2026: Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) में शैक्षणिक सत्र 2027-28 के लिए Class VI और Class IX में Admission की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है। Ministry of Defence के अंतर्गत संचालित इन स्कूलों में प्रवेश Common Entrance Test (CET) के माध्यम से होता है। वर्ष 2026 के लिए जारी e-Prospectus में Chail, Ajmer, Belgaum, Bengaluru और Dholpur स्थित सभी पांच Rashtriya Military Schools में प्रवेश से संबंधित नियम, आयु सीमा, शैक्षणिक योग्यता, आरक्षण, परीक्षा पैटर्न, मेडिकल प्रक्रिया और फीस की जानकारी दी गई है।
Rashtriya Military Schools देश के प्रमुख residential public schools में शामिल हैं। ये स्कूल English Medium हैं और CBSE से affiliated हैं। यहां admission Class VI और Class IX में होता है और सभी admissions Boarders के रूप में होते हैं, यानी सामान्य day-scholar admission की व्यवस्था नहीं है।

ध्यान दें: Application fee और school admission के बाद लगने वाली annual tuition fee अलग-अलग हैं। Application के समय जमा होने वाली परीक्षा फीस को school की annual fee के साथ confuse नहीं करना चाहिए।
Age Limit
RMS CET में Class VI और Class IX के लिए अलग-अलग age criteria निर्धारित है।
Class VI
Class VI में admission के लिए candidate की उम्र 31 मार्च 2027 को 10 से 13 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए।
Candidate का जन्म:
01 April 2014 से 31 March 2017 के बीच होना चाहिए।
Class IX
Class IX में admission के लिए candidate की उम्र 31 मार्च 2027 को 13 से 16 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए।
Candidate का जन्म:
01 April 2011 से 31 March 2014 के बीच होना चाहिए।
Killed in Action (KIA) personnel के wards के लिए upper age limit में 6 महीने की relaxation का प्रावधान है।
Date of Birth के लिए Municipal Corporation या authorised local government body द्वारा जारी Birth Certificate को मान्य माना गया है। Gram Panchayat या अन्य local body द्वारा जारी certificate स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
Educational Qualification
RMS CET में qualification class के अनुसार रखी गई है।

RMS में पढ़ाई का माध्यम English है, इसलिए candidates के लिए English की जानकारी उपयोगी रहेगी।
Reservation Details
RMS में admission के लिए category-wise reservation का अलग framework है। Prospectus के अनुसार मुख्य category allocation इस प्रकार है:

इन categories के अंदर Government of India reservation policy के अनुसार OBC-NCL 27%, SC 15% और ST 7.5% reservation का प्रावधान है।
इसके अलावा Killed in Action personnel के wards के लिए कुल 50 seats earmark की गई हैं, जिसमें किसी एक school में 15 से अधिक seats नहीं होंगी।
Girls के लिए भी reservation निर्धारित है। Class VI में कुल seats का 10% या अधिकतम 30 seats, जो भी कम हो, जबकि Class IX में कुल seats का 10% girls के लिए निर्धारित है।
Exam Pattern
RMS CET की written examination OMR-based होगी। Class VI और Class IX का examination pattern अलग है।

Class VI के English paper में qualifying marks प्राप्त करना जरूरी है, लेकिन English के marks final merit तैयार करने में count नहीं किए जाते।
Class IX Exam Pattern
Class IX के लिए examination दो papers में आयोजित होता है।

Class IX के candidates को English, Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics और Science की तैयारी करनी होगी।
Syllabus
Class VI के लिए written examination सामान्यतः Class V standard का होगा, जबकि Class IX के लिए questions सामान्यतः Class VIII standard के होंगे।
एक महत्वपूर्ण अंतर language का भी है:
- Class VI: Question paper English और Hindi दोनों में होगा।
- Class IX: Question paper केवल English में होगा।
इसलिए Class IX के candidates के लिए English comprehension और subject terminology पर विशेष ध्यान देना उपयोगी रहेगा।
Selection Process
RMS CET में केवल written exam देना ही पूरी selection process नहीं है। Written examination के बाद qualified candidates को आगे की प्रक्रिया से गुजरना होगा।
Selection Process
OMR Based CET → Written Result → Medical Examination → Interview → Final Merit List → School Allotment
Written exam में qualify करने वाले candidates को medical और interview के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।
Medical examination nominated Military Hospitals में कराया जाएगा। इसके बाद interview आयोजित किया जाएगा।
Final merit written examination और interview के cumulative marks के आधार पर तैयार की जाएगी। Candidate का medically fit होना भी जरूरी है।
School allotment merit और उपलब्ध vacancies के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
Medical Examination
RMS में admission से पहले medical fitness एक महत्वपूर्ण requirement है।
Written examination और आगे की selection में qualify करने वाले shortlisted candidates का medical examination निर्धारित Military Hospitals में किया जाएगा।
Application भरते समय candidate को उपलब्ध hospitals में से अपनी पसंद का medical examination centre चुनना होता है।
महत्वपूर्ण: Medical examination centre चुनते समय सावधानी रखें, क्योंकि बाद में medical exam centre change करने की request स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी।
School Fees
RMS में admission के बाद annual tuition fee category के अनुसार अलग-अलग है। यह application fee से अलग है।

Caution money admission के समय जमा की जाती है और school से discharge होने पर बिना interest के वापस की जाती है।
School fee एक वर्ष के लिए होती है और admission के समय सीधे school को दी जाती है।
KIA category से संबंधित eligible wards के लिए fee exemption का भी प्रावधान है।
RMS में पढ़ाई और Facilities
Rashtriya Military Schools केवल classroom education तक सीमित नहीं हैं। यहां academics के साथ sports, physical training और co-curricular activities को भी daily routine का हिस्सा बनाया जाता है।
Schools CBSE affiliated हैं और Class X तथा Class XII की CBSE examinations की तैयारी कराते हैं। Cadets को आगे National Defence Academy जैसी competitive examinations के लिए भी तैयार किया जाता है।
Daily routine में morning physical training, academic classes, games, clubs, evening preparation और self-study जैसी activities शामिल रहती हैं।
Sports facilities में Football, Hockey, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Boxing और Athletics जैसी activities शामिल हैं।
इसके अलावा Photography, Dramatics, Art & Craft, Music, Debate और अन्य activities भी कराई जाती हैं। NCC training भी cadets के लिए compulsory है।
RMS CET 2026 के पांच School
Academic Session 2027-28 के लिए CET के माध्यम से पांच Rashtriya Military Schools में admission होगा:

RMS CET 2026 Online Form कैसे भरें?
RMS CET का form भरते समय parents और candidates को prospectus के instructions के अनुसार information दर्ज करनी होगी।

Candidate/Parent की आवश्यक details के साथ online registration शुरू करें।

Admission के लिए Class VI या Class IX का सही option चुनें।

Candidate की personal details, date of birth, gender और category को ध्यान से दर्ज करें।

Parent/Guardian और applicable service category की जानकारी भरें।

ध्यान रखें: Registration के दौरान गलत information देने पर candidature cancel हो सकती है। Class, gender, date of birth, category, KIA, Officers, JCO/OR, Civilian और personal details जैसे fields को बहुत सावधानी से भरें।
RMS CET Form भरते समय इन गलतियों से बचें
RMS CET का form बच्चों के admission से जुड़ा है, इसलिए छोटी जानकारी भी महत्वपूर्ण हो सकती है। Parents को form submit करने से पहले निम्न बातें जरूर check करनी चाहिए:
- Candidate की Date of Birth सही हो।
- Class VI और Class IX में सही option चुना गया हो।
- Gender सही दर्ज हो।
- Category सही चुनी गई हो।
- JCO/OR, Officer, Civilian या KIA category सही हो।
- Medical examination centre सोच-समझकर चुना गया हो।
