📄 1. INTRODUCTION
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited online applications for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026. The 22nd Edition of CTET Examination is scheduled to be held on 06 September 2026 (Sunday) in 132 cities across the country.
All eligible candidates may apply online through the official CTET website ctet.nic.in from 25 August 2026 till 01 September 2026.

🎓 5. CTET ELIGIBILITY – CLASSES I TO V

| 1 | Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). |
| 2 | Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. |
| 3 | Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). |
| 4 | Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. |
| 5 | Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). A candidate who has acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in Classes I to V subject to the applicable Bridge Course requirement mentioned in the notification. |

🎓 6. CTET ELIGIBILITY – CLASSES VI TO VIII
