TDS Claim Online 2026 | How to Claim TDS Refund Online | Eligibility, Documents & Complete Process
If Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) has been deducted from your salary, bank interest, fixed deposit (FD), professional income, commission, rent, or any other payment, and your actual income tax liability is lower than the deducted amount, you can claim a TDS refund by filing your Income Tax Return (ITR).
A TDS refund is processed by the Income Tax Department after successful verification of your Income Tax Return. If excess tax has been deducted, the refund amount is credited directly to your registered bank account.
